By accessing and using HashGenie (accessible at https://hashgenie.tools/), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using the service.

2. Permitted Use & Service Purpose

HashGenie provides client-side cryptographic hashing, file checksum computation, and algorithm verification tools. You are permitted to use these tools for lawful personal, educational, research, and commercial software verification purposes.

3. Cryptographic Limitations & Security Notice

HashGenie provides algorithms based on historical and modern standards (including RFC 1321 for MD5 and NIST FIPS 180-4 for SHA-256). You expressly acknowledge that:

• MD5 Collision Vulnerabilities: MD5 is mathematically vulnerable to collision generation attacks and must not be used for password storage, digital certificates, or critical security boundaries.
• Verification Only: Output hashes are computed mathematically based on input data. You are solely responsible for choosing the appropriate hashing algorithm for your security requirements.

4. Intellectual Property

The visual design, brand assets, site architecture, and user interface styling of HashGenie are protected under international copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

HashGenie is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the operators of HashGenie be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the tools.
